By blessing all creatures, great and small, we are reminded that we are called to both share and care for all of God's creatures.

They love without strings attached, these loving beasts of Your hand, O God of amazing critters. Bless them, for they bless us even when they leave muddy paw prints on clean floors, ignore our commands, and shed on the furniture. Keep us worthy of their trust.
