EMMANUEL EPISCOPAL CHURCH
OUTREACH TO HELP OUR COMMUNITY AND BEYOND

Our Deacon's primary commitment is to promote Emmanuel's outreach to those in need.

Official (by vestry) parish projects include:
    *Emergency Assistance Coalition
    *Interfaith Food Ministry
    *Habitat for Humanity

Current outreach projects include:
*Providing supplies for Room 108 at the Manzanita Family Center.
*Providing Christmas gifts for the family in Room 108
*Working at Last Friday Supper and Second Harvest (Youth Group project)
*Supporting our diocesan Camp Noel Porter
*Providing gifts for the Visiting Nurses Association to distribute to their patients

Members of the congregation are very active in giving time, talent, and money for Nevada County Habitat for Humanity, Emergency Assistance Coalition, Interfaith Food Ministry, anger management counseling, cancer aid, and Alzheimer support.

The national Episcopal Church engages in national and international assistance programs and Emmanuel supports those projects as part of the Anglican Communion.

Other outreach needs are addressed through the Rector’s and Deacon’s Discretionary Funds.
